Who am I?

Hi, I’m Mikki.

I am an adventurer at heart, a scientist by training, and a nature lover to my core.

Throughout my career, I have worked in engineering, sustainability, consulting, and complex project environments. Alongside that work, I became increasingly fascinated by a question that sits at the heart of both individual and organisational success:

Why do some people remain clear, adaptable, and effective under pressure, while others become overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected from themselves?

That question led me into the study and practice of nervous system regulation, resilience, leadership, movement, breathwork, and human behaviour.

For more than two decades, I have explored yoga, breathwork, meditation, and embodied movement. In 2023, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, grounding years of personal practice in structured study and teaching. In 2025, I became a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, further deepening my understanding of mindset, behaviour, and personal change.

Alongside these formal qualifications, I continue to study the science of stress, resilience, performance, and the nervous system. It is a field that constantly evolves, and one that I remain deeply committed to learning, practicing, and integrating into my own life.

For many years, I lived from achievement, responsibility, and expectation. Outwardly capable and driven, yet often disconnected from my own needs and wellbeing. Through breath, movement, self-inquiry, and nervous system work, I discovered that sustainable leadership does not begin with managing others.

It begins with how we relate to ourselves.

This understanding became the foundation of Aspasiana.

Because leadership is not only a set of skills.

It is a state of being.

The way we respond to pressure.
The way we recover.
The way we regulate our emotions, attention, and energy.
The way we show up for ourselves and for others.

Aspasiana brings together science and embodied practice, modern research and ancient wisdom, to help people build resilience, strengthen self-leadership, and create the capacity to thrive under pressure.

Inspired by Aspasia, the philosopher and mentor who quietly shaped the leaders of ancient Greece, and by pranayama, the yogic science of breath, Aspasiana exists to support a more conscious, grounded, and sustainable way of living, leading, and performing.

Through breath, movement, nervous system regulation and mindset work, I support individuals and leaders in building resilience, strengthening self-awareness, and responding from clarity rather than pressure.

Whether you are navigating stress, transition, burnout, or the demands of leadership, this work meets you where you are — and helps build the capacity to move forward with more steadiness, presence and trust.

Aspasiana is rooted in my own journey of coming home to myself.

But it is also a practical path for anyone ready to lead, live and perform from a more regulated, grounded place.
